I have a passion for telling stories in prose and rhyme. I’ve been a teacher, homeschool mom, children’s ministry director, historic museum interpreter, and more. I write from my home in New Jersey where I live with my husband, two children, and a black cockapoo named Sophie. I find special joy in sharing my love of reading and writing with the next generation at school visits and other book events!

Sandra is an Illustrator living in Nevada with her husband and border collie. As a child, she either had her head in a book or was doodling her own stories. She is endlessly inspired by animals, nature, and friendships. Sandra’s style is soft and sweet with an emphasis on characters and connections. Her artwork is created digitally in photoshop and procreate or using a mixed media approach including watercolors and crayons.
